Re: Soap and fungus
I don't use soap on my body anymore. I find removing the dead skin with a shower puff (not too sharp), by scrubbing myself the way I would if I was using soap works well. I use coconut oil for my face and armpits. In the end, I don't need moisturizers. My natural sebum does the job just fine! As for...

Re: What fruits combine well with avocado?
For what reasons? Taste? Digestive reasons? watermelon and avocado taste suprisingly good together, and honeydew and avocado is very refreshing.RRM wrote:A bad combo, if you ask me.

Re: Whiter teeth?
It's interesting, eh? But does that mean we have to be careful it's not eating away out teeth if we're adding oils at the same time or not? So far, I'm liking the results. And... I believe many people actually brush their teeth with coconut oil for it's antibacterial properties. @pancea... I drink m...

Whiter teeth?
I've been eating 90-95% Wai for a couple months now, and it seems to me my skin isn't just silkier but my teeth are a lot whiter. My eye teeth had a slight yellowing starting to happen when I started, and now it's gone. Am I the only one? Is this a coincidence, or are there others experiencing this ...

Loosing enzymes and vitamins after juicing?
Hello,
Everywhere I read about juicing, they always mention, we need to drink our juice within 15 minutes of juicing, but the Wai way we are sipping our juice over a matter of hours. Are we missing out on enzymes and vitamins this way?

Re: No sleep
Actually the Wai Diet doesn't contain munch foods, and adding sugar is optional. Check #2 on http://www.waidiet.com/index.html The ASD has limited protein because of the acne issues, the Wai Diet hasn't. :) I've been reading, and it seems I missed a bit the first time around. So, I think I might be...

Re: green surprise!
I made this! I'm allergic to tomatoes and wanted to add a little more colour and pizzaz to my salad. Pear is also really good, and changing this one ingredient chanes the whole flavour and experience of the salad. And yes, I have also done the raisin an nuts too, but also add a little ginger juice (...

Re: No sleep
Can someone explain why are egg yolks more needed by women? All articles/studies point that egg yolks may increase menstrual cramps due to the higher contents of arachidonic acid. I also understood that because the placenta itself is made up of cholesterol, the egg yolk replaces it somehow. I belie...

Re: No sleep
12?!?! But In the instructions it says women only need 2 egg yolks a day, and more during the week before menstruation to help with cramps. Don't worry, I drink tons of water. The chocolate is not a factor as far as my sleep is concerned. What is waking me is my neighbours partying. lol! Normally, I...

Re: No sleep
I usually have somewhere between 3 and 4 egg yolks (I'm a very active female). My typical day looks like this: 12 fl oz Orange Juice 2 tbsp Oil, olive, salad or cooking 0.5 large (8-1/4" long) Cucumber, peeled, raw 1 Avocados, raw, 1 small zucchini 2- 3 Bananas, raw 0.5 or 2oz Balsam-pear (bitter go...

No sleep
Hello, I find myself in a predicament where I've been woken up in the middle of the night. and so got very little sleep. It's in these times, I feel myself rejecting the raw and wanting nice warm cooked foods. I know my body is needing an extra something (a source of nutrients?), but I'm not sure wh...

Re: Is this diet having the opposite effect?
Oh man! Thanks for your replies.... I feel like I'm walking through the forest learning what's edible and what's not, and I keep stumbling across the poisonous berries and mushrooms. Of course, the result is me now looking at those particular items and unregistering them as "food", and I'm glad I am...
