Re: Improved eyesight! & Bates' method
JeffC: When his supplier stopped making them, he went out and tried most all available pinhole glasses to decide which ones to recommend to his students and found that none were able to create the state of Presence that is desired when the visual system is allowed to function as it is intended… So h...

Re: Improved eyesight! & Bates' method
I have some experience with Peter Grunwald Eyebody method. I've done 2 retreats with him and it's excellent. www.eyebody.com The Bates Method is great to get started with and to provide a basis but Peter/Eyebody goes much deeper and has a more profound effect in the long run. It's hard to explain he...

Re: Réussir/succeed
Welcome/Bienvenue Chris! Thank you for your story! it's nice to see a french person doing Wai…I always feel the weirdest when I'm in France and eating Wai. In the Netherlands and the US people are less centered on food so it's less obvious. In France they make a big deal about food so it's nice to r...

Bacteria Vaginosis
It's interesting how going to the doctor is the best way to believe you "have something wrong" and "need to do something about" it when nothing seemed actually wrong… However, after a routine pap smear (last one I had was in 2010 right before leaving the Netherlands) they found an excessive amount o...

Re: Vitamin B12 deficiency
Numbers are for Vit B12:
192 pg/mL and the "normal" range is 187 to 1059
SO I am actually within the "normal" range, just on the low side. I don't think there is anything to be concerned about here. Right?

Re: Vitamin D Requirement
I have the numbers:
Vitamin D 25-Hydroxy: 24.3 ng/mL is my level and the "normal" range is : 30.0-100.0
So I'm just below the lowest.
I will follow this advice RRM and eat a bit more yolks, Salmon and tuna

Re: Vitamin D Requirement
Oh and a friend tol me that if I supplement D I need to get one that is combined with Vit K/magnisium for proper absorption. What's this? Basically in the case of this D and B12 "deficiency" I'd like to know if I'm OK as I am, and just need to adjust the diet or if I need to do something else. Perha...

Re: Vitamin D Requirement
After a routine blood test the other day my doctor said I was low on VitD and said I should supplement. I will get the unit/value of the measurement when I get the paper from him, so far just got a call from the secretary letting me know I'm at 24,3 (something) and the range is 30 to 100. So just un...

Re: Vitamin B12 deficiency
After a routine blood test the other day I got a call from my doctors secretary (:() saying that the doctor found me deficient in B12 and that I should take B12 supplements because my B12 is at 1,92 and the normal range is 1,87 to 10, 59... My first thought was, nothing wrong there, I'm in the range...

Re: The mystery of more frequent urination after an all nigh
I've noticed something similar as well. I haven't pulled an all nighter since college, however I notice it when I travel transatlantic which in a way is similar. Staying up or not sleeping when your body is used to it. I notice that I drink more and urinate more. Now here is an interesting but non-s...
