When on the Wai Diet, how should I take care of my teeth? Brush before sleeping and after waking up? Can I drink orange juice first thing in the morning? Use a straw to drink the orange juice to prevent the acid from touching my teeth?

Thats up to you.

Yes. Just dont brush right after drinking / eating.
The other way around is ok though.

The other way around meaning that it is okay to brush before drinking / eating? How long do I need to wait after drinking orange juice to brush?

At least an hour, preferably more.

Could I make it less than an hour, by eating something like coconut oil after the juice?

No, eating something else would only make it longer.

So would it be better to say, eat some egg yolk +OJ at 8:00, brush my teeth at 9:00, and have some eggyolk + OJ at 9:01,

than to have eggyolk and OJ at 8:55, and brush at 9:00 and not eat anything after that?

I guess I've always just brushed my teeth last thing because I always felt like having clean teeth while I slept was really important. It would feel really strange to switch this around.

Both options are far from ideal. I'd say eat something, wait a while, brush, go to bed.

But it's hard or me to go so long without eating. In fact going an hour with no food is already a lot for me.

That's why I said "a while", so wait as long as you can.

Is flossing using my nails effective? My nails are pretty long.

No. Flossing should be like scrubbing, using nails does not accomplish that.

I use wax-free plain floss. It works fine and I now realize that a lot of the gunk I thought was coming from between my teeth was actually wax coming from the floss I used to use. What a gyp!
I do so like green eggs and ham. Thank you, thank you. Sam I am.
