At least they are the only ones that it specifically says that 'these are water-cured'. On the other ones it doesn't say that, but at least salt is not listed in the ingredients list...

Don't get me wrong. The olives are great.
BUT, they were salty!!!
Called olives et al, and was informed that they get olives in Brine, which are then washed and topped up with olive oil. So you get a less salty olive - but not a water cured olive.
Would love to try a REAL water cured olive if you can get them.
I buy green olives with pit and if they are salty, I just rinse m with water and lay them in water for 2 hours and there is no salty taste whatsoever, must try.
There is no way that the water will extract all the salt, as there is still (salty) water inside the olives.
What may not taste salty to you, may be too salty for others (susceptible to acne).
