Wed Sept 16, 2015 (not Wai items)* [Title: Olive(r) Twist]
8:51
9:30 1 banana, 3 oranges
13:30 1 banana, 2 oranges
17:20* 16 green olives stuffed with pimento
20:00* 3 olives, 440 ml Strawberry Banana Smoothie
22:20* 1 banana, 2 olives, 1 hothouse tomato, 2 roma tomatoes, 3 olives, 2 egg yolks, 3 olives, 400 ml water
00:00 - 9:17
---
I got a jar of olives.
The olives were immensely salty (calcium chloride), as overwhelmingly salty as the 1 tbsp butter I had yesterday.
The saltiness does not make it feel like food.

Thur Sept 18, 2015 (not Wai items)*
9:17
10:00 9 olives, 10 g 90% chocolate*, 2 tbsp sugar
12:00 2 apples, 10 g 80% chocolate*, 1 tbsp sugar
18:30 1 tomato, 400 ml (4 oranges), 200 g salmon, 10 g 80% chocolate*, 1 tbsp sugar
22:00 20 g 80% chocolate*, 2 tbsp sugar
0:00 30 g almonds grounded, 150 ml water, 1 tsp oo
0:00 not sleep till 2?* - 7:26*
---
* wow, earliest time I have woken up this week.
Apparently chocolate is similar to coffee,
the first time I ever had a full cup of coffee was in a restaurant at 3pm and I remember I couldn't sleep until 3 am.
Guess I will be staying away from high % chocolate, as like coffee, or at least limit it to early morning and not before night time.

Fri Sept 19, 2015 (not Wai calculator items)*
7:26
10:00 1 banana, 10 almonds, 30 g 80% chocolate*, 1 tbsp sugar
12:00 300 ml 3.5 oranges, 1 tomato
16:00 200 g salmon, 100 g salmon + 2 tbsp sugar + 2 tbsp vinegar*, 3 tbsp sugar + 40 g almonds grounded
22:00 500 ml water
00:00 - 10:07
---

This week felt a bit chaotic including some foods which I am sure I have not touch in such amounts for months: chips, soup, butter, bread, olives, chocolate.

TASTE RANT (of and for the past week):
Firstly, tooooo much salt, in chips, in soup, and especially in butter, and in canned olives. <--- Reading this you will probably think, what do you mean? These items have salt, nothing special. Noooo, you don't get it, salt is like sooooo salty it overwhelms the taste of butter, it destroys the taste of butter, it destroys the taste of olives. It is insane how much salt I tasted in them, it is as if no one understands the true taste of butter or olives.

Butter, I expect butter to be soft, cold, and creamy. Not a cacophony of salt 2 seconds after rolling it off the tongue to be squished by teeth. It is like swallowing soap along with butter, so unpleasant. To butter making companies, please never ever put sssaaltt! Like halt it!

Olives, "I can pick a fight with pimento" - foodie-aytundra, but that will be another story. Main point is salttttttttttttt in this rant, If the olives were not salted I would eat 10 jars. Enough said.

Dark chocolate was too chalky. The chalky after taste was an unrefined moment in dark chocolate world. I expected better.

Anyways I am sure no one understands what my tastebuds are exclaiming above in the rant above, fillllllllling words with repetitive letters does not express the fact that I want to scream a football field of how upset I am with the ugliness of salt destroying the taste of these food items (even though technically I am not even suppose to support them, report them, or to eat them as they are not on a calculator that I chose to try out, which is breaking my September rules, which is breaking my own goals, which makes me furious that I am not following my own September rules, now I am off topic...), as no one really avoids eating salt or non-plain food, for a while. Sighs.

Fine prints: This taste rant was biased, it was written by taste-aytundra after not eating these items for monthsssssss. Food companies: Please ignore her, and continue making crappy foods.

Quick summary:
I crave mussels/clams at the moment (moment as in now, as I am typing here) (foods that are not artificially salted). Is like that feeling of needing water after tasting strong stinky cheese.

Sat Sept 19, 2015 (not Wai, c-"heat-ed" items**)
10:07
11:00 1 banana, 30 g almond grounded + 3 tbsp sugar.
13:00 1 banana, 150 ml (1.5 orange)
15:00 2 cups watermelon, 10 g of pastry**
18:00 2 tomatoes, 30 almonds, 30 g curry chicken drumsticks(temperature was on low heat "3", but started with boiling water) and curry 20 g carrots**, 50 g hazelnut wafers**
00:00 - 9:30
---

Sun Sept 20, 2015 (not Wai calculator items*, not Wai items because salted**)
9:30
9:30 1 banana, 20 almonds
16:00 1 banana, 25 grapes, 1 tomato, 7 tbsp sliced olives** (debrined not really, in ro water for 20 min), 1 tbsp sliced olives, tomato pulp juice + 1 tbsp oo
18:00 1 banana, 1 tbsp sliced olives, 15 g propeller clam raw*
19:00 1 orange
21:00 1 apple, 40 almonds, 2 cups watermelon
---
No additional pimples from yesterday's cooked items.
Currently I have a mild-about-to-start-headache ~20h, not sure if it was yesterday's items, or today's items.
I have noticed that I have spent more time looking for fatty foods in the kitchen.
I took a bag of chips out and thought about eating them at 9:45. I picked up a piece of chips and then putted it back.
I took a look at mayonnaise and butter at 17h and 21:30h; I even read the ingredients. (looks at... water, soya oil... stops at soya oil, and concludes the bottle has the wrong label "mis-labelled as mayonnaise"... "It should be labelled soya oil-naise."

Re: Aytundra's Diary (not Wai diet) Egg yolk/ gram price

Post by Aytundra »

:) !

Addendum:
Sat Sept 19, 2015 15:00 3 egg yolks* (**12.8 g, 12.3 g, 12.4 g = medium brown eggs weighed with sack, I probably had ~ 10 g each after sack was discarded.) right before the pastry.
Sun Sept 20, 2015 21:30 1 tsp oo* after watermelon.

EGG YOLK PRICE/ GRAM CALCULATION:
*I forgot to write it down, I had it on scrap paper because I bought medium eggs this time, contrary to my usual large egg purchases.
**Intuitively I know medium sized chicken eggs have less egg yolk than large sized chicken eggs; larger radius, --> larger sphere, --> larger volume.
12 g vs 17 g.
The surprising thing was that the price was equal after I accounted for the fact that I would leave at least 2 g behind.
medium vs large chicken egg yolk;
10 g vs 15 g;
1.67/100 g vs 1.67/100g.

Mon Sept 21, 2015 (not Wai items)*
9:00
headache almost gone in morning.
9:00 1 banana, 15 almonds, 1/3 apple
12:00 300 ml rice tea, [bibimbap = korean dish = raw! egg yolk : ) + seaweed + mushroom + carrot shreds + beansprouts + veggie + beef], sides: 2 spoons of kimchi, 2 spoons of seaweed-carrot shreds, 1 inch cube of potato, 2 x 2 x 0.5 cm bean curd; 1 bite of beef ribs, 1 spoon of pork rice soup, 1 bite of pork cutlet.
{Went to a restaurant, not by choice.|Food was by choice. Restaurant had no lettuce or tomatoes in menu items (which was actually quite interesting to read, there isn't even a leaf of lettuce to decorate the plate underneath the food, the restaurant choose to use celery and onions as a decorative base.) and there was no orange juice. So I did not bother to do my salad experiment of the week here; but I am planning to challenge a restaurant this week da da dum!}
18:20 1 strawberry banana smoothie, 2 banana, 1 apple, 2 tbsp olives
23:00 - 9:00
---

Tue Sept 22, 2015 (not Wai items)*
9:00 1 banana, 1 orange, 1 piece of chips*
1:40 3 bites of pastry (minced chicken, beef)*, 4 tbsp olives, 1 apple, 1 tomato
5:30 198 g pineapple**
22:00 1 banana, 10 almonds, 6 tsp sugar, 1 apple, 80 g salmon
23:00 - 9:00
---
** It happened that I left my wallet in the car, so I had only a few coins to spend in a convenience store.
The amount I had, could only buy me 180 g of fruit (which was on sale), other than that nothing else could be bought, not even dates which exceeded the amount I had on hand. It was interesting the infinite (about 3 x 1 meter span) amount of chocolate bars and candy I could select from, and small bags of chips. If I wanted a meal, a patty or a pastry or a muffin could still work. It showed me that junk food is marketed so cheaply! :S

Wed Sept 23, 2015 (12 types of Wai Calculator items)
9:00
9:00 1 banana,10 almonds, 2 tsp sugar
13:50 1 banana, 1 apple, 20 almonds, 2 cups watermelon, 70 g salmon, 1 tsp oo
17:30 252 g strawberries, 250 g cantaloupe with honeydew, 1 avocado**
20:30 200 g dates**
22:30 1 tsp oo**
23:30 sour-taste-felt, hence plus 1 tbsp oo**
24:00 - 7, 9:01 no-acid-after-taste on waking**
---
** I think the avocado mellowed out the large-amount-of sugary dates' acid-after-taste, not the oo, as the oo was not much.

What does it feel like to eat a pizza now?

Pizza crust and bottom was sand-paper texture, scratches throat a bit.
Pepperoni too salty.
Cheese, apparently I still like melted cheese... :S

Mon Sept 28, 2015
9:30
9:50 1 banana, 1 strawberry, 1 apple
13:50 1 banana, 1 apple
17:30 200g (26) dates, 1 avocado, 256 g cantaloupe, 210 g pineapple
18:00 I can feel the sugars from the dates, getting to me (feel it in my brain), but no acid taste. First time I am eating 200 g dates in an 1 hour period, I felt full at 23 dates in 15 min, so I buffered with avocado as fat, and 450 g, and 3 at the end to wrap up the acid notes of the pineapple.
18:30 Mood = Super cheery, noticeable by classmates
21:30 Mood = Happy and awake, while classmate tired and yawn-ish
22:30 1 tbsp olives
23:00 3 egg yolks
~6? 1 tsp oo
23:30 - 6~~~~~, 9:00

The last time I ate pizza the crust tasted like cardboard, the cheese like rubber and the sauce tasted like a strange mix of too many herbs and spices.
