I had brazilnuts in it's shell before (Dec2015), I know what they taste like raw.
They are a bit moist. Like very dry fresh coconut meat. You can taste the minerals. I like the nuts a little drier, and less expensive, so I go for the shelled raw nuts, but not the roasted brazilnuts (you can see the colour is different, if you compare them in the store.)
Most nuts, hazelnuts, walnuts, almonds, brazilnuts that are sold directly in the shell occurs around November, December time, because there might be a demand for nuts in their shells.
Walnuts are the exception, I see them being sold in a mesh bag now.
After walking through 3 stores that sell nuts in bulk, I can tell if the nuts are roasted because they appear drier.
The easy ones to spot are the salted and the BBQ flavoured...etc.(didn't buy them, but their artificial-spice colouring is noticeable).

What I cannot tell is if they sprayed the nuts with a light film of oil, and some oils are near tasteless.
Because dried nuts sometimes taste a little bit oily because of it going rancid.

I should just buy a small handful of oil coated mixed nuts to see what they actually taste like.

hence, I did not listen to my body, and that affected my sleep time and bm.

I am also getting slimey spit from too much protein intake, or it could be I am catching the common-cold being passed around, my classmate sneezed next to me.
