fluorscent-green words =
I don't know if they are really raw, just that the packaging/store said that it is "raw". After walking through 3 stores and seeing 4 products of mixed nuts, I found that each labelled the nuts differently. They might have different suppliers, but they look about the same. One of the stores said
raw, cashews, almonds, hazelnut, brazil nut, pecans,
with "canola oil"! I suspect they might have the same suppliers, but because I bought it from those scoop containers, sometimes you really never know if they typed everything to put on the labels and forgot additives like oil.
Same with juice, though, it is suppose to be not pasteurized, it has been sitting there in a plastic container for some days...though these juices taste much better than pasteurized concentrated juice.
raw-cashew = new-quasi-maybe-Wai-item status, it is a nut, it is raw, but not listed on the Wai Calculator, but acceptable in forum perspective if it is really really raw.
I like cashews out of all the nuts, it is a little sweeter.
I realized, I don't like hazelnuts because it is a bit bitter.
Brazil nuts can taste funny, maybe rancid.
Pecans are nice, but they are expensive, and even in a mixed nut bag, my scoops only netted 5 pieces.
Sugar, for a moment it felt unreasonable to give it the green status as the sugar was from a packet/something packaged by machines.
